Embedded between the hilly Appenzellerland and Lake Constance, Goldach receives its guests in one of the most attractive regions of Switzerland. The community of Goldach belongs to the Rorschach region with around 20,000 inhabitants. The Goldach community stretches over an area of about 4.8 km²: In the west it borders the Goldach River, to the east it seamlessly crosses over to the neighbouring communities of Rorschach and Rorschacherberg. All of the communities touch Lake Constance in the north, which connects them to the neighbouring countries of Austria and Germany.
