A particularly enjoyable natural spectacle is the boat ride from the bay of Rorschach to the mouth of the ancient Rhine. Through nature reserves and passing wild and romantic river landscapes along the way, the ride takes you to the picturesque little town of Rheineck. Furthermore, of course, the comfortable Postbuses will conveniently transport you to your point of departure, destination, or even there and back.

Our tip:
This particular excursion is easily combined to create a delightful round trip. From Rheineck the cog railway takes passengers to Walzenhausen. Either on foot or with the Postbus, over the “Joke Hiking Path” you then arrive in Heiden and, from here, the Rorschach-Heiden mountain railway then escorts you back to your departure point. OSTWIND and Euregio day tickets as well as round-trip tickets are available for the attractive excursion that can be enjoyed in both directions.
